There are 2 main types of weed: Sativa and Indica. Sativa wakes you up and sends energy to the brain which then spreads out to the body. So instead of drinking coffee to wake up you can smoke 1 or 2 blunts of sativa and you'll be awake. Indica is known to send chemicals to the body to relax. So it could be beneficial to the who has insomnia. Again they can smoke two blunts and they'll be able to sleep peacefully.
