Not all strands of marijuana have been proven to be carcinogenic. The carcinogenic strands should be regulated through the FDA if recreational use is permitted.

Yes, but the new law of for recreational marijuana would not effect those who have already been charged for the possession, use or distribution. Therefore, there would be less money towards that area in jail but not effective immediately.

I'm not sure the point was to create a new market, it would better the economy we have today.

It would encourage more underage people to use it. Over use of the drug would cause damage to the body and could also become a gateway drug.

Recreational marijuana should be legal because it would cut down on the arrests and convictions of use and selling. It would also stimulate the economy and put more towards the country through taxes.
