Marijuana should be legal because it will keep many people out of jail. Marijuana is not a drug that makes you eat peoples brains out or act crazy and have adrenaline rushes like other drugs. It would be the same as just smoking a cigarette (which is legal) but in a more healthier way. People go to jail and get a long sentence for having a green cannabis, and they are in there with people who kill and rape. So they are filling up the jails with people who are causing no harm when it can be for a person who actually did a bad thing.
